Summer
Recap
This year was unusual for us because Fritz traveled solo through much
of the summer while Teresa concentrated on writing. Fritz continued to
photograph throughout the Yukon, shifting his lenses away from landscapes
and large mammals and focusing on fires, flowers, insects and biodiversity.
Teresa received a Yukon Advanced Artist Award in support of the writing
of our book and retreated to a cabin near Kluane Lake for much of July
and August.
New Poster
This summer we introduced a new poster to our Collection.
Three Rivers is a sweeping panorama of the Snake River valley produced
in partnership with CPAWS Yukon. Three wilderness rivers - the Wind, Snake
and Bonnet Plume - form part of the spectacular headwaters of the Peel
River. A
7.5-foot long photographic print of this panorama was on display at the
Yukon Art Centre and in downtown Whitehorse in Fall 2004. One of Fritz's
images from the Wind River was also selected for the cover of Rendezvous
with the Wild (Boston Mills Press) to be released in November 2004.
This fall
we are pleased to be partnering with several new retailers, and we recently
relaunched our website with new online payment systems. We now accept
VISA credit card purchases online and over the phone, and we also offer
online sales in US dollars through Paypal.
