Kluane National Park is one of Canada's wilderness jewels - a 22,000 sq. km protected area known for its sweeping vistas, large valley glaciers and healthy populations of grizzly bears, Dall sheep, moose and other large mammals. The continent's highest mountains and most expansive icefields dominate the heart of the park, and Kluane's frontcountry is a spectacular setting for hiking, rafting, canoeing and skiing. Kluane is part of the largest international protected area in the world: together, four interconnecting wilderness parks in British Columbia, Alaska and the Yukon are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
